Modern living room with excellent sliding doors features the minimalist and edgy look. A bulky TV cabinet is not a good furniture piece to decorate the space. Keep it simple without any heavy wooden cabinet. If you need a place to accommodate the DVDs, CDs and Games, use the floating TV stand or shelves. The items will create larger impression due to the less floor consumption inside the modern room. The living room or family room always features a TV. It can be put at the top of the TV stand or you just have to mount the TV onto the wall. For safer purpose, the TV should be located far away from the fireplace. Thus, the heat will never bother your television. Those who want to put their TV on the wall should follow the following tips:
The mounting kit
Get the mounting TV kit first. It is sold in various stores in town with cheap price. If you are interested to get the wall mounting kit in the local store, visit the reputable local dealer. Before you purchase the kit, notice on the TV dimension. You will waste a lot of money if the wall-mounted kit is not the appropriate one for the TV.
Install the studs and screws
The next thing to conduct is installing the studs and screws on the wall. The TV will be smashed on the floor if you forget the step to install the studs. The screw should penetrate inside the studs.
Do not display the wiring
The modern living room should look minimalist and free from clutter. If you leave the wires dangling around the TV, the impressive look will be reduced. Secure the wires by cutting a hole located behind the TV to hide the wire.
Attaching the TV on the mounted system
The last thing to do for wall mounted TV installation is putting the TV onto the system. You will need a person to hold the TV just in case that the system is not well installed on the wall. Put gently the TV onto the wall. If you think that the TV is well secured by the system, put your hands away from the TV. Then turn on the TV to test it.
