Spending your days in a new home or apartment could make you feel cold-hearted and gloomy. At the end of the day, you have to admit that you miss your old home so badly, especially the little cozy space you called bedroom. Relax and sit back, you may need to do small things with your bedroom walls to turn your days brighter. Why don’t try some ideas to decorate bedroom walls out? You probably won’t get your old bedroom back, but you can make the new one as comfortable as its old counterpart.
Whether you’re very creative or just a little out-of-the-box, here are some great ideas to decorate your bedroom walls and make it a lil’ bit personal.
1) Blackboard paint
Turn your bedroom walls black using blackboard paint. This way, with chalks, you can make a bunch of amazing designs such as quotes, grafitti, or maybe a multiplication table. Just like you’ve seen in some stylish coffee shops, you can decorate the black-painted bedroom walls as you like.
2) Excessive frames
Collect more than a dozen photo frames in various size, color and shape, fill them with photos or any favorite images, hang them on the walls from ceiling to floor and Voila! You have an artistic, stylishly decorated bedroom wall like no others. Other option, you can also use frames in the same style (take, black frames) in various size and arrange them on the bedroom walls.
What do you mean rugs go on the floor? You're so mainstream! Choose a pretty and colorful piece of rug and hang it on the bedroom wall as a decoration to give the room some characters. By the way, you can also hang the rug behind the bed to replace the headboard and Voila! You get a beautiful boho-chic bedroom everyone will envy.
4) Fairy lights and fabrics
Fairy life aren’t just for Christmas. Use your imagination and arrange strings of fairy lights as a decoration for bedroom wall. To cover the blank wall space, take some light, white fabric (such as tulle), drape the wall and combine with the fairy lights to create your own space of imagination.
5) Murals and doodles
If you’re so good in art, why not test yourself out and paint some beautiful artworks on your bedroom wall? Take your time and seek for inspiration, and then take several cans of acrylic paints in various colors and start to play with your brush. You can make an impressionist masterpiece, or maybe some playful doodles, but if you’re not so good at painting, turn to wall decals instead.
6) Huge alphabets
Modern bedroom seen huge alphabets as a stylish idea for decorating bedroom walls, in order to create a funky and dynamic ambiance. You can form a short word such as LOVE or maybe the initial of your name with those wooden, plastic or metal alphabets.
